About TJ Vann

My name is Taylor (also known as TJ) and I am currently based in Chicago. In 2016, I earned my BFA In Interior Architecture from Columbia College Chicago Becoming an interior designer and architect was always the initial plan, however my true passion and dream was to be an artist and graphic designer.

During the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona. A month after the program, my friend and I traveled to a handful of cities across Europe and Scandinavia. This trip was the starting point of another discovered passion and has inspired me to share my travels through photography.

Today, I am a graphic and rendering designer at a multinational restaurant chain while also freelance on the side as an artist and designer. The type of work I do is environmental graphics, architectural renderings, and digital art. I’m also currently pursuing a UX Design Certificate with Google.

As I continue to develop my professional creative career, I will always be planning the next trip in my free time and document it through a camera lens and a paint brush.
